ALBANY -- Local merchants are invited to a free program, ``Customer Retention 2000: Marketing into the New Millennium,'' Wednesday evening at 200 Henry Johnson Boulevard.

The free seminar is sponsored by the University at Albany's Small Business Development Center, the Urban League of Northeastern New York, and Lark Street Neighborhood District Management Association.

William Brigham, director, Small Business Development Center, had met with both Arbor Hill and Lark Street merchants to create a program in order to retain retail in the area in the face of mega-retailers.
